Just a brief one (see the time I am writing this one? we just had a nation wide black out – weird!). I arrive o Nicaragua just fine on Sunday. On Monday I went to NICANOR a tilapia fingerling farm. Very impressive, they are working with a improved blood line called G.I.F.T (Genetically Improved Farmed Tilapia). This guys have their stuff together. Today Tue. I had an aquaponic Intro presentation complete with assembling a mid size system (more pics later). Aquaponics is taking Nicaragua by storm, I have found out about MSF-alumni currently operating a successful mid-size system (using gravel bed) in a town called Rosario near Leon. Awesome!!
